The bending forming limit of the tube depends not only on the mechanical properties of the material and the bending method, but also on the use requirements of the tube. The forming limit of pipe fittings should include the following contents:
1) The maximum extensional deformation in the tensile deformation zone outside the neutral zone does not exceed the plasticity of the material and causes cracking;
2) In the compression deformation zone inside the neutral zone, the thin-walled structure subjected to tangential compressive stress does not exceed the instability and wrinkle;
3) If the pipe has an ovality requirement, control its section to produce distortion;
4) If the pipe has strength requirements to withstand the internal pressure, control the forming limit of the wall thickness reduction.
